Requirements
Please only provide these information through my Ticket Support or via my Discord Bot. Don't share this on the public channels for privacy reason.
- A Virtual Private Server (VPS) with root access
Can be from Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, Oracle or any other hosting providers
(Better if is a clean instances) - Open to all both TCP and UDP ports
(For smooth initial setup) - External & Internal IP address to your VPS
(For allocation purposes) - Provided Private/Public Key to access through SSH
Either provided by the hosting provider or generated by PuTTYgen
(Ask me if you prefer to add my SSH key instead) - Your VPS must be always online and running
You have full access to the features that the panel has to offer.
Don't provide me these following or other things that isn't allowed
- Access to your cloud provider account
- Email addresses or logins to any external websites
- VPS that contains any sensitive information
- VPS with no root/full access
(That includes shell console, VPS with no root permission) - Anything that isn't in the requirements
Privacy Notice
ArcticWoof Panel only stores and use data or information on what is necessary. As the Privacy Policy states, ArcticWoof Panel saves information that is required for the website/services to function, meaning that whatever the data is used in the website, stays in the website and only used in the website.
During the linking process, the panel will assign your server with a subdomain under arcticwoof.xyz, then provide SSL certificate using Let's Encrypt and certbot. The server then setup Pterodactyl Wings to communicate between your server and the panel. It will not share or expose anything outside this process, as this is entirely configurated within your server and to the panel.
By linking your server to the panel, I have some of control over your servers, files, information going through both your server and the web panel so do not put any sensitive into your server. If you have any privacy questions, do ask about it as I want to be transparent as I possibly can.
If you wish to depart your server from my panel, you can simply delete the VPS that is linked to the panel and contact me via Discord about it so I can remove all other data and information off on my panel.
Disclaimer
There is subject for the Panel to have some downtime depending on the situation so you might be unable to access your server during this time but your server will continue to run regardless if the panel is down. You can check the status at the Panel Stats or the Status page.
This services is only for those who wants to manage their server though a web interface panel instead of a terminal. Not used for any form of giving a hosting provider services. (unless the server owner requested to provide a user one)
If you unable to access your server but you can still access the panel, please do note that it's likely your server might be down or having issues and its your responsibility to resolve it as I don't have any total control over your VPS. Anyone using these servers that isn't owned by you. Do expect some disruption if these servers causes issues.
